DOROTHY BRAZULIS

Dorothy R. Brazulis (nee Kurek), age 86, resident of North Riverside for
58 years. Devoted mother of Donna M. Brazulia. Wife of the late Walter L.
Brazulis whom she was married to for 60 years. Daughter of the late Clara
and John Kurek, late brother, John, late sister Joanne (Charles) Lukasik
and Clara (Richard) Vlastnik. Aunt and godmother of Carole (Bill) Kamin,
nephews Scott, Steven (anna), Nicole Kamin, cousin Genevieve (Wally)
Stelter. Dearest lifelong friends Eleanor Francich, Mary (Arthur) Kleidon,
Lorraine (Joe) Dvorak, Irene (Cyril) Gazarek and Agnes (Ken) Fron. Special
nephews Christopher and Nicholas Fron and companion Martha Dudzinska.

In grade school she was a soloist at St. Blase Catholic Church and
continued singing into High School appearing in many musicals and plays.
She was a co-leader and helped to organize the first Girl Scout Troup in
Mater Christ School.

Visitation was held Wed., March 3, and Thurs., March 4, at Hitzeman
Funeral Home, Brookfield. Funeral mass was held Thurs., March 4, at Mater
Christi Church, North Riverside. Entombment was in Resurrection Cemetery
Mausoleum, Justice.

ADOLF DYNIA

Adolf Dynia, a resident of the Garfield Ridge area and a equipment
mechanic, died Thurs., Feb. 25, in Mercy Hospital, Chicago at the age of
74.

Survivors include his wife, Genowefa (nee Walowska); two daughters, Lucia
(Thomas) Zielinski and Anna; two sons, Walt (Krista) and Richard
(Jennifer); 9 grandchildren; two sisters, Jozefa (Stefan) Patelski and
Mieczyslawa (Ryszard) Kawka; one brother, Henryk (Elizabeth); and many
sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by three brothers, Chester (Alice), Bruno
(Jadwiga) and Mieczyslaw.

Visitation was held Fri., Feb. 26, at Ridge Funeral Home, Chicago. Funeral
services were held Sat., Feb. 27, from the funeral home to St. Daniel the
Prophet Church, Chicago. Interment was in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.

ANTHONY FILICICCHIA

Anthony Filicicchia, a resident of the Garfield Ridge area and a C.P.A.
for the IRS, died Sat., Feb. 27, in his home.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

Survivors include his wife, Mary (nee Menza); one sister, Domina “Donna”
(Robert) Azzaline; and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held Mon., March 1, at Ridge Funeral Home, Chicago. Funeral
services were held Tues., March 2, from the funeral home to St. Daniel the
Prophet Church, Chicago. Interment was in Queen of Heaven Cemetery,
Hillside.

KAZIMIERA GIERASZEK

Kazimiera Gieraszek (nee Zerger), age 81. Beloved wife of the late Marian.
Loving mother of Jadwiga (Javier) Ramirez, Urszula (Tadeusz) Teper, Janina
(Henryk) Krupa, Renata (Roman) Glodowski and the late Lech Gieraszek. Dear
grandmother of 8 and great-grandmother of 11. Also survived by nieces,
nephews and relatives in Poland.

Visitation was held Thurs., March 4, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home,
Justice. Funeral services were held Fri., March 5, from the funeral home
to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, Lemont. Interment was in Mt. Auburn
Cemetery, Stickney.

SHIRLEY INGRAM

Shirley C. Ingram (nee Rosenbach), age 66 of Hodgkins. Beloved mother of
Robert Ingram and Teresa (Ted) Hobart. Loving grandmother of George and
William and Devin and Jordyn. Dear sister of Sharon Adams and Leroy (Pam)
Rosenbach. Loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Visitation and services were held Sat., March 6, at Foran Funeral Home,
Summit. Cremation will be private.

ANIELA MAJERCZYK

Aniela Majerczyk (nee Stolowski), a resident of Chicago and a homemaker,
died Mon., March 1, in MacNeal Hospital, Berwyn at the age of 76.

Survivors include six children, Zofia Bobak, Stanislawa Stasik, Helena
Sadelski, Anna Maciata, Janina Petuchow and Jozef Majerczyk; 17
grandchildren; many grandchildren; and one sister, Maria Chowaniec.

Visitation was held Fri., March 5, at Zarzycki Manor Chapels, Chicago.
Funeral services were held Sat., March 6, from the funeral home to St.
Camillus Church, Chicago. Interment was in Matki Boskiej Anielskiej
Cemetery, Bialy Dunajec,  Poland.

GUNHILDE McWILLIAMS

Gunhilde D. “Gunny” McWilliams, a resident of Tinley Park and a food
server, died Sun., March 7, in Palos Community Hospital at the age of 72.

Survivors include one daughter, Margaret (Terrence) O’Toole; two sons,
Mick (Vilija) and Larry (Lisa); 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren;
one brother, Robert (Sandy) Anderson; one nephew, Stephen; and one niece,
Julie.

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Patricia (Robert) Huber.

Visitation was held Wed., March 10, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home,
Justice. Funeral services were held Thurs., March 11, at the funeral home
followed by interment in Evergreen Cemetery.

TYDVIL MOCARSKI

Tydvil L. Mocarski (nee Swanson), a resident of Hickory Hills and an
assembler for an automobile company, died Tues., March 2, in Manor Care
East at the age of 89.

Survivors include many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter.

Visitation was held Thurs., March 4, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home,
Justice. Funeral services were held Fri., March 5, at the funeral home
followed by interment in Fairmount-Willow Hills Cemetery, Willow Springs.

ADAM PAPLAWSKAS

Adam E. Paplawskas, a resident of Justice and a machinist, died Sun., Feb.
28, in his home at the age of 91.

He was a veteran of World War II.

Survivors include his daughter, Violet (William) Oswald; his son, Adam
Paplawskas; and his granddaughter, Janet.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Violet (nee Ecker).

Funeral mass was held Wed., March 3, at St. Patricia Church, Hickory Hills
followed by interment in St. Casimir Cemetery, Chicago. Arrangements were
handled by Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home, Justice.

ANGELA STEKOVICH

Angela K. Stekovich, loving daughter of the late Peter and Christine (nee
Kuback) Stekovich. Loving sister of the late Paul Stekovich. Best friend
of Elmer Keller. Cherished friend of Nona Cervenka, Eleanor Brozowski,
Louie Aidinovich, Jackie Goodall and Ewelina Platek. Lifelong animal lover
and good friend and neighbor to all.

Funeral services sere held Sat., March 5, from Foran Funeral Home,  Summit
to St. Daniel the Prophet Church Chicago. Interment was in St. Mary
Cemetery, Chicago.

ANNA PULA

Anna S. Pula (nee Gadzala). Beloved wife of the late Walter. Loving mother
of Walter (the late Rita), Jean (the late Tom) Wesolowski and Darlene
(Alexander) Niemczura. Dear grandmother of 12 and great-grandmother of 13.
Dear sister of Bernice Noga and the late John and Paul Gadzala. Also
survived by nieces and nephews.

She was a member of the Willow Springs Senior Citizens Club, St. Turibius
Altar and Rosary Society and Klub Luszowian.

Visitation was held Thurs., March 11, at Damar-Kaminski Funeral Home,
Justice. Funeral services will be held Fri., March 12, at Rosary Hill
Home, Justice followed by interment in Resurrection Cemetery, Justice.

LILLIAN SZELA

Lillian “Dolly” Wright Szela (nee Muraski), age of 88. Beloved wife of
Michael Szela. Dearly loved mother of Judith (James) Callan, Linda
Schirmer, Susan (Peter) Lussier, John (Abigail) Wright and Patricia
(Robert) Fedyski, and step-mother of Michael (Beth) and Chris Szela. Proud
grandmother of Sara Schirmer, Ann (Tim) Atalla, Morgan and Nathan Wright,
Marie and Jon Lussier, Katie, Joseph and Thomas Fedyski, Amelia and Clare
Callan and Michael and Leanne Szela. Preceded in death by her first
husband, Henry J. Wright and youngest child, James R. Wright (Diane). She
will also be missed by her siblings, Dorothy Davis, Jane (Clyde) Lybarger,
Mary Ann Szela, Carol (Fred) Wakeman, Evelyn Engbretsen and Donald Muraski
and brother-in-law Knowlton Van Erem and her nieces and nephews.

The family extends their sincere gratitude to the physicians, staff and
chaplains at the Loyola University Hospital CCU for their kindness and
professionalism.

Visitation was held Mon., March 8, at Foran Funeral Home,  Summit. Funeral
services and interment will be in Battle Creek, Michigan.
