Learning from each other...
Kindergarten students at Gladness V. Player
School in Justice have been learning just as much as Ms. Megan Gibson,
student teacher from Lewis University, Romeoville. Ms. Gibson began her
student teaching at Player School at the beginning of January and will
continue till the end of April. As a student teacher, Ms. Gibson must
slowly take over the responsibilities of the classroom from her
cooperating teacher Mrs. Kathy Linkus. Along the way Ms. Gibson will
collaborate with Mrs. Linkus and the rest of the kindergarten team on ways
to become an effective primary teacher. It is through the support of the
University and Indian Springs District 109 that new teachers get the
hands-on training needed to become valuable educators.
